Hidden Valley is gearing up for its 21st National Night Out, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring our community together for an unforgettable evening of fun, food, and festivities. This annual event is a cornerstone of our neighborhood, promoting community engagement and strengthening relationships between residents and law enforcement.
What to Expect
Delicious Food and Unique Vendors:
Satisfy your taste buds with an array of delicious treats from local vendors. Indulge in the famous “Dem cakes,” crunchy pork skins, and explore beautiful African attire. There’s something for everyone to enjoy!
Musical Tribute:
We are honored to have the Charlotte Symphony perform for 30 minutes to pay tribute to Officer J. Eyer. Their enchanting melodies will set the tone for a night of appreciation and unity.
Community Engagement:
Meet and greet with members of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD), Sheriff McFadden and his officers, the Fire Department, and various city and county officials. This is a perfect opportunity to connect with those who serve and protect our community.
Fun Activities for All Ages:
Brian McGhee from Sugaw Creek will be on-site providing exciting youth activities. Whether it’s games, crafts, or sports, there’s plenty to keep the young ones entertained. Plus, enjoy music from DJ Patterson and Brown, who will keep the energy high and the dance floor bustling.
Free Food and Refreshments:
The Hidden Valley Community Association (HVCA) is delighted to offer free hot dog plates complete with chips and drinks. It’s our way of saying thank you for being part of this wonderful community.
