ReEntry Services for Returning Citizens

Genesis Project, in collaboration with its dedicated partners—National Council for Community Support, Locked Out Love, MSI Global, and Pitts Services, Inc.—is steadfast in its commitment to supporting individuals scheduled for release from state and local incarceration facilities within Mecklenburg County. Our mission is to provide essential resources tailored to reduce the overall recidivism rate and promote successful reintegration into the community.

At Genesis Project, we recognize that the journey of re-entry begins long before an individual’s release. That’s why we engage with individuals during their incarceration period, offering comprehensive support that includes life skills development, moral and cognitive self-improvement programs, job readiness training, and entrepreneurial guidance. Additionally, we assist with benefits, housing, and disability coordination to ensure returning citizens have access to the tools and resources they need to rebuild their lives.

Our holistic approach aims to empower returning citizens, helping them achieve a stable and productive life post-incarceration. Together with our partners, we are dedicated to creating a supportive environment where individuals can thrive and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
